Legend further says that when the remains of Amir were exhumed for facial reconstruction and research Russia faced many problems so the remains were returned to the grave. Allah knows best...

The founder of Moghul empire Babur was a descendant of Amir Temur.

The mosques and tomb architecture is indeed beautiful and worth seeing.Well i did not have much idea about Uzbekistan but your thread introduced me to a country rich in culture and heritage.I hope one day i will visit these places and thanks for sharing your experience.

Yes mate I am from the same family. My great grand father fled Laal Qal'a after 1857 independence war because of being an heir to the Moghul throne after which he went to gujrat, lived there in secrecy till one day his elder son killed a sikh who wanted to ravish a Muslim girl. People gathered around and saw the royal seal on his sword so they had to leave gujrat again because the brits were still after them, then settled in dhanola and ultimately kathel where they lived till partition and then came here. More than half of my family was martyred during partition because sikhs and hindus targeted them specially saying that the leaders of muslims had to be totally eliminated; all of our belongings burnt to ashes but we killed many because even the women were masters at swordsmanship. But this all makes me believe in one thing only i.e Badshaahi sirf Allah ki, jisey chaahey bakhsh de.

Yes I did check all your threads. All of them are worth praising but Spiritual Tour of Mevelana's Home Konya and (Cordoba)Masjid-e-Qurtaba as it once was---Pics are exceptional. I am a great admirer of Jalal-Ud-Din Rumi and Iqbal’s poetic work. Infact I have read the whole Kulyaat-e-Iqbal numerous times and one of my favorites in Kulyat-e-Iqbal is an assumed dialog between Molana Rumi and Iqbal “Mureed-e-Hindi, Peer-e-Rumi”. I must say, as far as Sufism is concerned, 13<SUP>th</SUP> Century belongs to Jalal and 20<SUP>th</SUP> Century belongs to Iqbal. However even today both are lightening our hearts and minds by their excellent poetry.

You are always welcome mate. We need to be aware of it all because Shijrahs can be made yet the people who know you and the places you have been residing at, can't be changed and they can authenticate if one's bloodline is real or not.
