I have joined all of your discussions. I am very satisfied that most of the people are against this stupid and illogic IHC decision. FBR/GOVERNMENTS had been launching these kind of schemes time to time due to that our country with very sensitive borders especiaaly with Afghanistan which is a main cause of Smuggling activities. The recent scheme for vehicles to give them a amnesty or get them regularized legally was a sixth one in the row, five schemes were launched in the past. If this scheme declared unlawful,why not those previous schemes pointed out. These kind of our court decision do not have any kind of weightage because they are decided by one way hearing as only a one person went to court to declare the legal government schemes as vetted by govt's law ministry to illegal and the court declared this scheme as illegal without safeguarding the basic constitution rights of the people of Pakistan . Therefore i was astonished to hear that the vehicles should be captured but how n why. As per customs act 1969, a vehicle which get registered through customs by paying the duties as per prevailing law that vehicle can not be re-captured and this is the part of our constitution. How IHC issued instruction to FBR to seize more than 50,000 vehicles as they have paid duties as per demand of the FBR/GOVT during the prevailed
scheme. The decision is totally against the constitution and can not be accepted by the affectees and also should not by FBR/GOVT.
I have also got a toyota vitz 1999 during this scheme keeping in view the decl;ared scheme and tax concession at that time. I had suzuki mehran for five years but i was tired of having that n sold the vehicle. As soon as i heard that a scheme announced i was very happy that i could be one of the lucky people of this poor country to drive a japanese vehicle and i went to swat by keeping a lending/debt money from my friends to purchase a vehicle and i had cost 600000 rupees alongwith all the supplementry cost. Now,when i heard this illegal decision by a honourable court judge, i have not slept since one month comfortably as i have still debt on my shoulders. i am a salry person,if my vehicle got captured,i may be taking a suicide as i will be completele financiaaly destroyed. Allah is judge ko hadayat naseeb farmaye jis ny hum jaisy poor people ky against decision dya hai.
My friends, please get together with me on tuesday so that we may file a petition against such decision otherwise we will not be able to live comfortably if govt/fbr start to take action against our vehicles and our jobs would also be lost as FIRs WILL BE LODGED AGAINST US FOR HANDING OVER THE B=VEHICLES TO FBR.
