I dont know about the others but I recently had a complete engine rebuild. A lot of cosmetic work required, some key pieces of trim missing but hey I am roadworthy. Cant say the same for all my cars.

@Alvis, you missed the Himlayan Rally we flagged off from Isb in 2006. Mohsin has pics of the lineup. I saw a couple of Silver Clouds. Mohsin got any nice pics to share?

I sent John 25 dvd's of the Himalaya Rally start and interviews of the participants and he never even called to acknowledge that he got them.....do ask him on my behalf f he got them. I have feeling that he feels let down by VCCCP...why, I don't know. However, some pics to share with all

The Stutz was in fact spotted at the Polo grounds. The car has been in hiding for a while now and only seldom comes out like most cars in Pakistan.

How's the Daimler? have you ever given thought to fitting it out with a manual gearbox? I can tell you it will be a complete transformation and the true driving pleasure of the car can be exploited.

While we are on the subject of the Himalayan rally, does anyone have any details regarding the convertible 67 VW beetle which sadly crashed somehwere in Pakistan?  Do not remember the year but I have the newspaper clipping stashed somewhere.....

I believe there were fatalities too?

Aha! The crashed Convertible Beetle... I heard from Nasir Shaikh the remains of this car are somewhere in Quetta, probably in a Police station. Would like to see a photocopy of the clipping, maybe put it on our www.vwcop website. When exactly did this sad incident take place?
