VCCCP is holding its annual classic car show on Sunday, 16th March. We had almost decided to postpone the show till the end of this year but since things are looking somewhat better we thought we might as well do it now and sooner the better before it gets too hot.

We welcome our fellow enthusiasts outside Karachi to join us at the show - time is short but it would be wonderful if some cars from Lahore, Islamabad etc. could be part of the show.

this 250c was being painted at javed autos early 2007...........it had been completely stripped apart/

Thanks for the nice photographs. Beautiful and grand car's which have been mercifully not allowed to leave India.
I have seen so many rare and historic cars being shipped out of Pakistan that I have nearly lost count now.
We still do not have a law to prevent any of the cars here from being taken out, not that there is anything left!!

the Nawab of Bahawalpur had presented his Phantom V to the President of pakistan in 1967.
The same car rather, than being cherished and loved, was put up for sale in 1991/2 and given to some close relations of the then President at a throw away price. The same car was then promptly exported out of Pakistan. Last I heard it was for sale by some classic car dealer in Manchaster, many years ago.

Dear Friends,
Finally I am able to let my hands on a 1963 Mercedes 190D,the car belong to a late friend of mine and we restored it in our medical college days.The car is mechanically fit,but needs a total new interior.I need advise,on the best pooshish/upholestry guy in Lahore,who can do a perfect job..Money not an issue. Plus can anybody can tell me if tyres with white stipes are available in Lahore. Expert advise is sort from members from lahore especially Mr.Hussain neurosurgeon.
I will be in lahore next month.

thanks for the excellent pics.....I saw the Lincoln in Mumbai in 2006 (the mascot suggests it's a 1946). It was in a workshop for some minor attention....that w/shop was full of classics, including Jackie Scroff's 540K, a Lancia Lambda and Nitin Dossa's beautiful '40's Cadillac Convertible. Mahraj Barwani told me that it's the only one of its type in India. This one's converted to 12 volts (mine is still on 6 volts)- Citroen is very very nice - I love the wipers mounted above the windscreen rather than below it as in later models.
