I visited Mohsin bhai today and it was a treat to hav such a great host:)
i annoyed him 4 a gud 2 and a half hours and went thru all the trim that is to gon on the stang in the next 5-7 days I.A
wish id taken my digicam and taken piks....
i was honored to be shown his collection of piks(framed and otherwise) and alot of other stuff luying around in his garage:)
thank u moshin bhai 4 a lovely afternoon and especially the "badaam ka sherbet"
cant wait 4 the stang to be completed!

Since I've found more time nowadays to come online, etc. - I've gone through this entire thread all over again. I have absolutely nothing to contribute here, except say that I'm in awe - great job with everything, mohsinikram, and everyone who's a part of the Vintage & Classic Car Club of Pakistan. You guys have added a whole new dimension to this forum, and its always good to see that this thread is always brought to life every few days with another great post.

Show is on the 16th March Inshallah but I am not feeling very confident about organizing it on such a short notice....extremely busy with work and I need atleast a week off to work on it. Lets see how it goes.....Will see u there Inshallah.

@Mohsin, speaking from experience, you MUST delegate some of the projects within the show, or you risk having a coronary. Give other members, the younger lot in particular (No Jim, thats not you!) a chance to help out. After all, you cant carry the burden of this show year after year. Anyone out there willing to help? Now's your chance.

I want to retire now, seriously. I called a VCCCP meeting on Saturday, Jim was as usual in his elements, talked about everything but the show - Calling another meeting today and hopefully some of the saner members will attend and contribute. Task of t-shirts has been given to him and he has to report on the progress today, so he is contributing too. Need a sponsor........

The Lancia picture you posted is a Lancia Flavia Coupe, body by Pininfarina, probably 1965 or so.
My Coupe was a Flaminia.

This car at one time belonged to the late Mujib ur Rahman, who lived in Mohd Ali Society. I am not sure , but I believe it is with his nephew Brig Isphandyar Pataudi. Hope it has/will find a loving garage!!

@alvis; sir, it really WAs a basket case when i had seen it, but remember, i had seen it in 1995 last when Afzaal sb had just taken it..it was lying in his yard without any wheels.
mebe hes brot it bak to running atleast to live up2 his own reputation atleast:)
