Thats the only pic of the Flavia I have. Jim and his red shirts........in our last event a couple of weeeks ago, someone from the club actually told him that if he wears a red shirt we 'll all wear red shirts......Jim wore a light brown shirt, lol!

T-shirts would cost around Rs.250 each depending on the quality that we get. Last time we bought export surplus 'Levis' for 200 each, printing was another 50/-. Lets see what we get this time. We can offer sponsor a small logo on the back of the shirt under the collar and one on the sleeve if they are willing to pay for 500 shirts. Caps cost around 120/-. We can offer a small logo on the side of the cap.

yes this is raja shahid zafar's brother's car.
@mohsin bhai..this is the car i told u abt...i was mistaken that its a 66 hardtop...my myth is thus broken..its a 67 hardtop..exactly like the one in pindi with the diesel engine.
only this car is pristine..has a 2v 289. dunno if its auto or manual. wud lov to see the car in the flesh
raja muzaffar also has a maroon 1961 220s apart from the lincoln that wasif mentioned.

If you ask me, Mustang should have been discontinued after 1967....but it was such a success story that Ford opted to continue with it ..... '65 'stang was pure and magnificent...'66 a continuation of that and a '67 was sort of the perfected Mustang. From '68 onwards it started to put on weight and lost it's lean and mean charm. What do you think......

The 67 Mustang really is an awesome car, and the fastbacks are my favourites. On another note, can anyone tell us something about the VIN plate of the white Mustang in the pictures? I have been told its quite unique in one respect.

In today’s issue of Daily Times, there is a news item about a vintage car show recently held in India, but interestingly they have used photo of one of your car (Lincoln Continental Cabriolet V 12).

safeershah.Sorry I have been busy.. the Challenger is a real challenge if you allow the use of the pun.

The car is complete with engine but the gearbox may have some issues as the only box I could get was an old Dodge 4WG auto gearbox off an ex military Ram. Interestingly all I needed to do was to have the transfer case taken off and it converted into possibly a Torqueflite??? The floor was rusted and it was cut away partially with a new metal sheet partially welded. The car is doable. Omar Mians number I posted up a few days ago but if you dont have it I will put it up again. The man will not probably sell at a loss. I sold it to him for exactly 100k while it cost me about 125 k before I age up. The house project had started and I needed every penny. Omar gave the Charsi denter about 15-20 k but not much work was done. Knowing Omar he wont sell at a loss.

Mohsin... I know you are busy at the moment with the arrangements etc but could you kindly let me know whether the TR4 can be trucked to LAhore. I have met Imad and I bought teh Z from him and he shipped it to Lahore. Possibly he can help with the shipment???

sir, i woudnt agree with you more, the 67 was the epitome of the driver's mustang. the 68 could be termed as the grand tourer version of the 67 with its luxury steering wheel and chrome rims on the standard fastbak.
i do differ on the point u made after taht.
in my opinion, the mustang beacme bloated and characterless from 71-73, by 74, it was a joke.
why i think the 69-70(moreso the 70, as it is a personal favourite) not only still had the mustang oomph but also is the point when it was the mustang that was termed the epitome of muscle cars in those 2 very models.
if you look at refinement, 64-66 is the best. 67 has the best blend of both refinment AND character.
the 70(i just LOVE those lines, curves and that snout) was when the mustang was muscular AND effective..sorta like mohamad ali in 1973 for his reclamation title:)
when that fastback (mach-1, or boss ot twister special) drove up in a parking lot, u had ARRIVED!
the cuope and conv dint look as desirable in that model in my opinion. but yes...as far as character and ooomph goes with the fastback...name me a beter, sexier more effective muscle car of the same years and you've got yourself a bout. ill PROVE to you why the mustang..was BOSS in 69-70:)

I respect your affection for the Mustang, but sadly it was never accepted as a "Musclecar" it was and always will be classified as a PONY car, because that is the segment to which its size( physical, not engine) relegated it. Even here it has the company of the Z 28 Camaro and Pontiac Trans Am to name two others.

The musclecar breed is virtually ruled by the large full size cars with the 426 HEMI with the odd Chevy 427 0r 454 thrown in.
No major american publication had the Mustang on their top 10 "musclecar" list. This list was always dominated by the HEMI's.

The US produced the greatest musclecars in the era you are refering to notably the Chevelle SS 454, the Pontiac GTO, the Plymouth Super Bee, Road Runner and the mighty 440 Six Pac to name a few.

sir, my point was EXACTLy that:)...1964, mustang started the pony car trend..the pontiac GTO, buick riviera etc existed even then.
bbut...1969-70...there were two variants of the mustang that sytood their ground anywhere..the concept of restricting them to pony status is debated the world over
mustang diehards say..the 69-70 was a dominant force.
why? well..the 429 hemi head big block proved it on the street(rated at 375 horses, it actually had abt 450 at the flywheel) and the small block 302 proved it on the track.
agreed, it wasa pony car first, but nonetheless, the shelby, the boss(302 small block, 429 big block) and mach-1(351,390 and 428 big block) were as muscle as you can get.
true....the 440 cuda 6pack is muscle league...the mustang as i explained earlier balanced and lived up to both the pny and the muscle league in those two years..thanks to the wide options range that it still has on the modern car...the resurgence of the muscle car has been by the mustang and it is one car that has stood the tests f time no matter how bad the ties got.

neways....thats my opinion....but thats what every mustang nut would tell u:)

being a mopar fan , in my opinion true muscle car was dodge charger with 440 RT , others in muscle league are dodge challenger, dodge coronet, plymouth satellite, super bee, road runner and GTX, you cant compare the little pony cars with the 440 beasts , there is and was a rivalry between mopar and mustang fans

well he doesnt know much about them
there is no engine but body is OK

ive not seen it yet and im not able to contact that person either
