Installing a Honda is a Mini is going to be suicidal for the car... Mini is a small car and it does have that much room for Honda engine... even if you are able to install Honda in your Mini, you will also have to install honda sor similar suspension system and that is going to screw the car... that is just my opinion...

As I have already mentioned on page 174, this car was lying in a street near Chowburgi and was about to be modified by some young mechanics....... Bought through my uncle's driver (a mechanic as well)........

You are always welcome to see the car with prior intimation..... I'll be glad to discuss the details....

I like cars - some more than others. Mopar or Mustang.....both are great. Good thing about the Mustang is that its not too bulky and looks light/compact. I would love to own a Plymouth Barracuda or a Pontiac Firebird '67-8. One of personal favourite is a 1965 Mustang Fastback or a '65 Shelby GT350.

My main passion is a 2 seater British and in some cases European sports cars with big engines and wire wheels. My stable would have cars such as a Jaguar XK120 Roadster ( I love the Coupe also), SS Jaguar 100, Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster, Austin Healey 100M and a Morgan 3 wheeler with V twin JAP engine.

Super cars like a Mercedes 300SLR, a Jaguar C & D Types, Ferrari 250 TR, Ferrari 250 GT SWB, AC Cobra, Ford GT40, Lamborghini Miura SV, etc.

I better stop dreaming and drooling ...... you might have to look for another BSA as I need one BSA for myself as well. Not too sure about the Norton yet.

Ford Cortina shown at page 98 (as refered by you) seems to be a Lotus version..... I would like to put alloy rims but would like to retain the color (for the time-being).

Nevertheless, all the plans depends on a reasonable mechanical revival......

it is a Packard, perhaps a Caribbean Coupe. But never seen this one before....the other one i have no clue though if i go through my magazines or my enclopedia of almost every car made....I 'll find it but too much hassle for nothing. Will rather wait for somebody else to guess (does it have a big fan in front??)

For the question about putting a Honda engine is a Mini. Doable but sacrilege in Pakistan where coopers and standard minis are becoming rare. In the Uk where there are lots of Minis one may change. Anyhow a subframe is available for putting in a DOHC Vtec Honda B16A engine into a Mini.

The subframe costs 450 pounds. I have a spare Honda DOHC VTEC lying around but no gearbox.. And one needs driveshafts as well and a proper radiator. And brakes.and wiring....Standard mini brakes with 160 bhp plus... disaster waiting to happen.
