Im quite speechless at the Minor. I never knew that the non-lowlight models had split windshields!!! Its a MUST BUY!!

Please try to negotiate the price if you can and clinch the deal. Otherwise let anyone from this thread have it. Its must be restored!!

Btw does this car have semaphores/trafficators??? Im pretty sure this year would have had them. But thats just a guess. I dont really know Minors well although this sweet machine is on my list of 'must-haves-in-the-future'

@ZN, Talat is a faecal matter orifice and will try and squeeze any potential buyer, I offered him 40k (stipulating he paid the taxes) and he didnt bite, however I feel another ten on top would do it. This car came in for a paint job 4 years ago, the owner never picked it up and now she rests outside. BTW, Yellow colour.

Thank you for the informtion and good wishes...... I think you are refering to Rehman Autos, as far as I remember (a small shop on the right when you enter the street).... I had been buying parts for my Morris Minor 1963, years back.... I have also come to know regarding another shop having stock of parts for British cars such as Ford, Morris etc.. I am planning to explore the market within a day or so......

one thing i noticed was that you VCCCP guys all are in love with the vehicles from my dads age. Personally I respect the dainty vintage stuff but I love classic muscle.

i'll take a mercedes 550SSKL and an AC Cobra over any hupmobile or tucker, though they have their place in history too.

remember the times when VW's were being modified left right and centre in the early 1990's - I thought of buying one too. I discussed with my mechanic and denter to take the body off, turn it around and put it back.....front end housing the engine and the back-lid now the front side of the car....wanted to see how would ppl react seeing the car facing the other way but actually accelerating in the right direction...... Asad, don't laugh at me.....

old cars are heritage on wheels.....they have years of stories in them.....they depict the thought process of the people who built them...pure designs coming straight out of an individuals head....not computers.

don't get me wrong, i really have a thing for old cars but i've always preffered great designs over simple names, but when it comes to power,.. there is nothing like it in an old car.

1956 Aston Martin DB3 S 6.1 sec max 154 mph
1969 Ferrari Daytona 6.1 sec max 174 mph
1962 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight 5.1 sec max 165 mph

For Morris you can contact Sarwar or Anwar at 021-4398105 and they are located at Tariq Road. They are asking 50k. Kindly see it your self and negotiate. I am stucked in an E30 BMW 316 and I am really not interested in Morris as I would turn it into a rodster. Put V8 wider tyres in the back shiny black paint and flames on the side Poor Morris .

50K for the Morris is a very reasonable price. Just make sure it includes all back taxes and an original reg book. The split screen alone makes it worth the price. Side valve engine I suppose?
