There is no shelby in Karachi, wat you saw is a fiberglass body on a beetle chasis :), Mohsin is right no hemi powered car in Karachi, I dont think that any Hemi survivor is in Pakistan.

talking of shelby cobra's .....what about the one that jehanzeb karmat has???? i remember haroon uncle (haroon rashid) showing me a couple of pictures of his collection. maybe it was yellow with blue stripes or the other way round....please shed some light on that

the blue Cobra lookalike (hardly) was like Safeer pointed out, VW based fiberglass body. I 'll add here, I witnessed the creation of this car. The body mould was taken out of an MGA with the front modified to give it the Cobra look. 2 cars were made...

Jahanzeb's Cobra is a kit car with a Ford 4 cyll engine...fiberglass body. Its yellow with green stripes. The car was auctioned by the Customs at the Karachi Port some years ago. About the Mustang, good observation. It looks like the same car as in our show earlier this year. I dont know what its doing n Lahore.

I wanted to paint it BRG over cream but then opted for its original 'Spruce Green' which according to a specialist just another name of BRG which by the way came in different shades of green. I have light tan leather for the seats and have a biscuit/beige carpet but have seen a green carpet matching the exterior..will decide between the two.

have no clue where that car went...there was a Renault Carvelle Convertible lying in some workshop in Islamabad,,,thats a car to be saved. Pics were posted in this thread centuries ago....try first 50 pages

i saw the car some months ago. Sorry no pics. The gu said that he has done the car up mechanically and it runs ok. Seats were out of the car as he said he has had them made new just needs to fit them. The car had an awful dark pink paint on it. It has to be repainted. Keep about 200,000/- to be spent on it min.
