@ Mohsin bhai
What would you do for the wiring of the Healey?? I assume there was no harness with the car?
@ all
Another news:
KPShiekh and I saw a 67 beetle for scrapping at Shersha which looked familiar. It turned out to be one I had seen quite often near my home. One can see its old pics in the VWCOP thread on page 63:

Its the white one with the reg B 5057. It was resprayed by the last owner so it was a bit better than what you see in the pics. Needs some work to get it running tho. A decent starters project car.
I am trying my best to rescue this car. Already had it towed away from Shershah as it was in the notorious area where actual (car) murders take place, plus stuff gets stolen there.
Trying to sort out the paperwork. Its registered in the name of some company. From what I could find out, one needs a letter from the company documenting the sale for transfer of the car. This is not available. I am thinking of contacting the Company but not sure what response I would get.
I know this particular car's history a bit. It was owned by an old Parsi lady before it was sold (along with the maroon LHD 65 Bug you see alongside it) to the next owners who must have passed it onto the company.
The 65 was brutally pounded into pieces (literally) by a local teen dabbay wala who had minced the engine too (later Psyborg and I discovered it was based along a Porsche block!). Have you seen grown men cry?? I was only a couple of hours late or else could have stopped the horror. Was only able to rescue a couple of wheels and the Speedometer.
Taxes paid till june 07. Papers clean. Scrapper willing to give a proper reciept of sale. Can anyone guide me if these documents are enough for a clean transfer to ones name??
If anyone is genuinely interested to take up this project bug please give me a shout.
Best regards.
