I also spotted holden belair several times, but unfortunately couldn't take pics. Chevrolet model are available in australia under holden name.

Mustangs, shelby are commonly spotted especially on friday nights.

Also spot one ferrari red color transum in gold coast.. a page back u ppl's discuss about transum in karachi, really its a car to keep.

Visited this thread after a very long time and a proud to see that it ahs grown from 240 pages the day My computer got fried to almost 340 pages.
It is a goldmine of know ledge and a database on all classic cars.

thanks for your kind comments. Out of the 3 known 6.9's, i had 2 in the family. My humzulf had one in Islamabad, sold it sometime back..and my cousin had one in Karachi which is also sold and has gone back to Islamabad somewhere. No pics sorry.

Hi everybody... been depressed and not visiting.... as
Mohisn put it a bit tired as well.

Fired the driver....BIG MISTAKE what with the kids exams and all that. The most highly qualified chauffer in Pakistan for the last two months... no exercise.... no time for cars...

The Mini is done mechanically and handed over to the painters but then the FOG hath arrived. The Datsun denting is nearly done as well.

The Alfa mechanicals start on Monday Tuesday....The Scirocco is being driven every other day... dirve it like nature intended.. braking late and going round corners without braking if I can.

Waleed was in from Chicago and took his Yellow Fiat out on the M'way and touched 145 .. I was in a Honda ( dont ask which one ) and wa scared ... ONE THING THOUGH IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR ON THE MOTORWAY. The presence was extraordinary...

Took out teh RX7 today for some therapy as well... mine not the cars. The road approaching SKMH is one long straight ( Mulsanne) with a braking left right chicane and a right right hander to get onto the hospital approach.... That felt good... no traffic..form 5th ( 160km/hr) to third and hard on the brakes second and accelerate hard... the rear 265s biting and squirming... touch teh brakes and 120 degree right and accelerate in 2nd again. Nirvana for all of 15 seconds and then sick patients... reality....

Depressed because I have sold teh B16A civic and bought the Missus a Vitz.. At least its in red.

I think it is time for RETAIL THERAPY for my winter depression. I have spotted a two door MK2 escort..in a workshop.. I want a Rally Replica. FORD ESCORT RS1800 BDA lookalike... the Toyota 4AGE was a copy of the engine. IN ROTHMANS livery.

Wanted to do that to a Mirafiori 131 but the owner mechanic is stupid and wants too much for a rusted hulk.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

good to hear from you after what it seems a very long time. I am going to try that Mulsanne Straight on the way to SKMH lol! my driver went on a 10 day leave (he's from Okara)I have been giving driver's duty as well...looking forward to your Mini getting done and on the road.

I am sorry i missed your message. There's no progress on FJ's cars though someone had filed a petition in high court on behalf of VCCCP and the concerned judge being a car enthusiast called me over to his house and told me that he will pass the order that the car should be handed over to us for restoration. I think something was done on that score as the Director Sindh Archives called me and discussed the ways for teh car to be handed over....then the country went into a spin with BB's assasination...the director was removed, the high court judge had already been removed along with other justices, I sort of didn't follow it up much and now if i do, there are chances that the cars will vanish so this is the time to keep mum about them

Same here; no time for cars....... I am however lucky to have the driver at present........ I have however arranged the school bus for the younger one just to play safe (double protection)......

Fiat is looking nice on the motorway..... and you are driving a "Honda City"......?
