The car needs a photo session at “dawn” on the river bank with blue water in the background (water in the river is hard to find here in Pakistan, however) with a polarizer on the camera lens…. Have you been able to imagine the final image…..?

I am desperate to drive the Mini……

Reluctantly suggest to reconsider the rims and the front grill (should be chromed, I feel).

bravo ! great job to get this Mini back on the road. So finally the charsi denter saga ends...well almost. The color looks very good and the resto manuals lying at the back give a nice touch.Somebody needs to start a Mini charter under VCCCP's umbrella.

I had one hectic Sunday - still recovering. I went to Samad's house to get the '53 Chevy out and to do that we had to push, lift, pull stuff out of the way...oh yes including cutting down a tree. it took us almost 10 hrs to rescue that truck from its 2 decades of being left to rot. Truck shall live, Inshallah!! here are some pics....

in between recovering the truck - I rushed home and took the Healey out on its maiden drive with some other classics....Mustang was driven by our friend and pwheeler qasimshah who's here from Isb for some work and to see our show. Mustang was heating up due to faulty rad cap and hoses.

Hey can anyone give an idea how much a restored mini cooper would cost. For a starter in vintage cars which car would u guys suggest.

restored or unrestored - I don't think you can find a Mini Cooper for sale in Pakistan. Mni Austin could be a good starer's classic or even a pre 1966 VW Beetle. You need to start with something thats simple to restore and parts availability is not a problem.

Kind of got used to the name. Yes, i also miss the Khaki colour. But this is nice as well. The paintjob was done in Sargodha. How are your studies going? Hope all is well
