well these cars belong to Nawab of Dir and they have some sort of family disputes over Nawab's belongings. The chances of this being settled are very remote becasue its just not that car... there is a lot of property involved too. I will try to get the contact number of someone from their family with whom you can talk. will email it to you once i have it.

in the meanwhile i will be posting the pics of 280s shortly.... now that car was a treat to see..... that one is still stored in the garage so its in much much better shape then this 220s.

What a waste. No interest, love or desire to see these cars see the light of day. They want them locked up, forgotten and to rot away just like the deceased owners in who's memory they claim to still hang onto them.

Here is the pic of the Honda DAX bike. I will source parts from Thailand in early march. I have tried hard to find another similar bike in Pakistan without success. :s They were imported in Pakistan many decades ago. I guess only a few remain, if someone has any information on the bike please do let me know. I would be grateful.

Thanks junee.Man u have posted great pics.Can I ask u where these cars are in lahore or pindi.As this nawab of dir had a house in FCC /Gulberg in lahore and there was a buick eight and chevy impla with them ,which were on road in those days,about 10yrs back.

these cars are in pindi. Actually its in the house right oppostie mine and for 4 years i didnt know they exhisted until one day they brought the 220s out (making space of a treasured Xli). i just went in to check the 220s and the servant told me abt the lincoln n 280s. He didnt have any phone numb for any family member and i didnt push him too much.... i hardly see anybody coming to that house. Sometimes a couple of guys come in that "lucky" Xli.... next time i see them i will try to get hold of some family member's numb.... maybe you and mjabbasi Sb can convince them to let go of these beauties.!

I know the DIR family very well. These cars belong to late Nawab Khusro Khan of DIR who was the eldest son of the Nawab of DIR Sir Shah Jehan Khan. The 2 sons of Nawab Khusro Khan - Nasir Khan and Saleem Khan are also dead. Currently the Nawab's widow and Saleem Khan's son lives in the house. Currently he drives an XLi and a black Lancer. After the Govt. took control of the state in 60's, Nawab Sir Shah Jehan Khan and Khusro Khan were moved to Lahore and lived in FCC/Gulberg. The Buick is now in Islamabad with a former son-in-law of Dr. Qadeer Khan - Saad Zameer in E-7.
