With all due respect-although there isn't much left after your childish stab at implying that i dont know about classics-you sir could benefit from taking off your "mustang coloured" glasses and seeing the world for what it really is.
We all saw in your argument with Alvis over the greatest muscle car of all times that you are a very competitive and stubborn man. Anyone who isn't biased like yourself would accept that the mustang is a very desirable car but not the king of all muscle cars. In fact, anyone who has read about classics-young or old- would know that it was in fact classified as a pony car by some, putting its status as a proper muscle car in question altogether. i'm not here to discuss that, just letting you know because you didnt seem to express knowledge of this fact. Or perhaps you didnt want to, as it weakened your case, making it harder to win-which seems like your eventual goal.
Might i correct you even further, this forum is for people who love and respect Classic and vintage cars and appreciate the joy they bring in their lives. As for respecting each other, i've already mentioned your history in this regard.
What i meant about you not knowing jack about the mini-and i still hold the same opinion-was that you havent been around in the mini world in Pakistan if you dont know a car's value when you see it, more so you dont even seem to know the car inside out like i do. My objective was to highlight the folly of people stereotyping the owner who demands a high price(in yours and their opinion).
And if you were picking on your friend, perhaps choose a more private form of communication because i dont remember reading qasim's blog on rational classic cars as the title for this thread.
As far as jawan khoon having more energy than the older lot, i couldn't agree more. As for the kam akal ignorant bit, everyone can see who is wearing his muscle car glasses. Also shows who is stuck in his 'boyhood' dream of screeching around in a V8 monster.
I rest my case.
I quote,
"dont count on it bro. someone out there might be dumb enough.."
I dont see your supposed "sarcasm" or the hidden paragraph explaining why classic car enthusiasts are regarded as dumb by their peers. I say what is the need to say such a thing on this forum. Are you saying you're one of those people who call enthusiasts dumb?
I can't tell because all i saw was a blunt offence calling classic car enthusiasts(in your own words) dumb.
Oh and if you can't take an honest and straightforward response, thats not my problem.
That said, I have nothing more to say to you.
God bless you.
@nuero
Hahah, I must say orange would suit the Japanese street racer image much better. Perhaps your kids believe in the same and aren't aware of your desires to keep this a low profile not-spotted-everywhere-it-goes car.
That said, when shall i get a chance to hear the Z? I have a window that opens out to the road, Just saying....
