I would have loved to drive back to Pakistan but as our families grow older and our responsibilities increase, its increasingly difficult to take time off. Therefore the only practical way for me is to ship it back.
My question remains..what if the car turns up in a shipping container at the Karachi port along with my personal effects? I can establish that the same vehicle was exported in July 07 along with more or less the same personal effects. (I have the original bill of lading etc.) I do have the various NOC's I provided as part of the export process.
Lets talk worse case scenario...would the car be impounded? released on bond, would I be asked to re-export it?
or best case..allowed in.....
