Spotted this cool classic in Islamabad going under renovation and re-modeling. The owner changed it and made it 2 door coupe and installed a sunroof. Though it is giving a good look, but I don't like changing the original shape Well this beauty belongs to him and he can do whatever pleases him

looking a 1967 mustang hard top on friend's behalf. he left the car at his mechanic in peer wadhai isb and soon afterwards had to go abroad. the mechanic moved the car here and there and at various times it was seen in peer wadhai, g10 markaz isb and cda lot. the car has jhelum numberplate jm 60. my friend has original papers and most of the stuff of the car lying with him. he would appreciate very much any news of the car's whereabouts.

what is the news from CDA ?

:)This green 911T ( probably a 2.4 ) used to belong to Brig Syed Akram. Registration LET 9211... I tried to race it from the traffic lights at Charing Cross in '77... my corolla 76 still had axle tramp and was hopping on its wheels while the 911 had already passed the Wapda House gate and was screaming past what is now the Avari Hotel. It was then owned by a landowning family.Salutary lesson that.... never try to race a car with traction off the line like a 911's

The family don't know where it is either....but I will trace it out if its is still in the metal.I have been looking for it for the last three decades minus the time I was in the UK

i've been searching for many 911s over the years,.. i never got close enough to speak to the drivers though. always caught a glimpse of them from the other side of the road (always!!)

what i don't get is why it is so hard to find an (aircooled) 911 owner (any model) willing to part with their car for the right amount of cash.... looks like the only way i'll ever own a 911 in PK is if i import a watercooled newer model :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I saw this on shalay valley road last time. Very little work has been done on it since then.
