The car in the workshop is definetly not a 1936 Mercedes. It is probably a 170 series from 1949 or early fifties. Note it is a four door, with a long tapered hood, compare it with the nearly rectangular hood and two doors in the browising pictures youve posted.
Google Mercedes 170 and you will see the similarity with the car in the garage.
A car like this was Mohsins first car and which set him on the path of passion.
Jboy, I doubt this could be FM Ayubs personal car. He passed away in 1975, and at that time the Rawalpindi series was RID. The RIG series came after he passed away, so some more investigation will be required.
He left the Presidents House in 1969.
