I think a saw a 2nd generation Dodge Challenger the other day in the Sahar commerical locality it's orange and from what I asked a near-by chowkidar it might be up for sale as well. I'll try to take a few snaps of it next time.

the 1st gen was 196-68.
the one ur talking about is a 3rd gen.1971-74

put in a faster rack in the mini cooper 2.2 turns lock to lock. havent driven it yet... back later today,

the vtec mini also progresses.... the problem is the power outages... it took the fibreglass man about one month to complete the front... whcih was slightly short and the radiator and generator were fouling on the front valance.

Check the seats being fitted. original recaros off my evolution.... hopefully body work shall all be completed this week.

You are correct.

The Challenger came out in 1970.

It was the B- body Charger that came out in 1966.

here we are

saw this car broken down by the roadside in Islamabad an hour ago. the men were trying to use some old cable to tow it. Car has a Multan plate, and headlights in the wings, so I would hazard circa 1940. cameraphone, so crap pic.

I am extremely disappointed by ur reply.This forum initially meant to be supportive for enthusiasts trying to rescue the left over heritage.
I have worse pictures of this car and i posted them in previous pages.I thought a restoration thread would have been better in the end.
Cars do break down.Even the newest cars i have witnessed to disappoint owners,u have been part of a serious one on the Motorway in the rally if iam not wrong.
I think there are certain stages for restoration and the pic u have taken was one of the stages.

I saw the car in its very early stage of restoration and I must say that his owner have tried his best to restore it to perfection.I took a ride in this car a few days ago and it was performing really very well.

i loved ur car when i took her for a spin the first day it came out of that workshop, and i think ur effort and time from such tight schedule is commendable

and i hate such ppl criticising NEGATIVELY on cars who asked for money to bring up guest cars from across the country to a specific place for just a day, while enthusiasts just dont care taking their cars to any good place on request where ppl encourage them and their hobby

I reckon Romano is talking about the quality of the picture since he used his phone, nothing demeaning about this beautiful resto. On that note, I've followed a lot of Romanos work and I think he of all knows the effort that goes in a quality resto such as this.

Guys, I concur with @Jboy here, there is nothing evil about the remark. Read again, this time with punctuation and note a period after "1940". A period concludes what @romano was expressing about the car. "cameraphone, so crap pic" is the last portion that is the remark you go read wrongly here, which clearly means that he was complaining about the picture quality of the pic that came out from his cameraphone.

Fact of the matter is that there are few (me included) who would measure up to the dedication for the hobby and experience @romano has with the vintages. Lets keep our calm together, we all love these beautiful old cars dont we?

What a beautiful restoration, this is the third time I scrolled up to see the pictures just while writing this post, love the tiny rear lights and the elaborate front grill,
Please do post some interior pics as well, would love to see what it's like from inside, and also a pic with the suicide doors open, I love suicide doors. Wish I could see it in person, the vehicle seems to have a lot of presence.
