this Land Rover is for sale in Karachi. The owner says its a 1963 model. Which I guess makes it a series 2. Its a LWB model, partially dismantled but complete.

I dont have the owners number but if anyone's interested let me or asadishaque know and we'll take it from there.

The asking price is steep at 300,000/- but negotiable. My estimate is 100,000/- should be a good price but then I dont know much about these jeeps. Had this been a SWB I would have picked it up.

The front headlight holes are non original and can be repaired. Lights came in the centre on the grill.

the front fenders and sides of rear fender have been refabricated in steel rather than aluminium. These can be reversed too.

This LR is parked in a small worlshop just behind Bandu Khan on SMCHS. Owners name are Frederic and Harry...two brothers known in that area.

Hi, this is an Opel Kapitan of about 1952. There are not many around here, maybe upto 2 or 3. Whether it is worth restoring you have to see what they are asking for. Unusual vehicle for sure. And has similarities to Chevy Fleetmaster, both were GM products.
maybe the wheels were removed because the car was "off-road" to save taxes? And what is that car in the background?

I have received another photo involving Eastern Automobiles, The Mall, Lahore, seems to have been a Parsi family which later came over to India. I had earlier posted a picture of them 100's of pages ago where they appeared to be taking delivery of a Jeep from Eastern Automobiles. I have also scanned the back side of the photo.

I am given to understand that KAD is an early Karachi series of number plates, earlier I thought that this was in Kerala.
This is probably a Hillman Minx 1963 +/- a few years.

Spotted this morning near Sabzi mandi Rawalpindi. Not sure what year probably 69-70 but in fairly decent body condition. The tail light lenses were broken and the owner had the good sense to at least try and keep the other drivers aware of his intentions to turn or to stop by installing the round after-market lights.
