Spotted this morning near Sabzi mandi Rawalpindi. Not sure what year probably 69-70 but in fairly decent body condition. The tail light lenses were broken and the owner had the good sense to at least try and keep the other drivers aware of his intentions to turn or to stop by installing the round after-market lights.

I have seen this Isuzu Bellet parked in Fauji Foundation Hospital (Peshawar) many times in last few months... I wonder how it reached Pindi in this condition...

She seemed to be running fine..the tyres were a bit worn but that is about it. I doubt if it still has the original 1.3 (or was it 1.6?) engine. May even be fitted with a CNG kit.

Saw this in F-10 Markaz few weeks ago, car was very much complete, again the tail lights were missing!

It was actually an original W126 4-door cabriolet.

painted now.. and fitting continues... just a glimpse of the suspension being done... drilled grooved discs with new calipers and adjustable Konis and Centerline yellow Lowering springs.

There was no cabriolet/convertible from the factory in the W126 range.

This is a chopped off job, but done by a professional outfit in Germany.

These cars were imported during Gen Zia's time around 1985 or so and were used as escort cars for the President.
From what I remember from the time they were imported by Shahnawaz Limited, but the factory warranty was replaced with a warranty by the converter, who were a company who specialised in cutting the roofs off the W126/124 range.
Their largest market was Africa, which was loaded with dictators at that time.

It wasn't posted earlier because it was given to Pakwheels on 10th April as posted by Hassan Raza on VCCCP facebook page.

Yes, thanks to Pakwheels Kuwait Chapter if there is one....as they certainly facilitated our participation....but thanks is due to VCCCP as well for having the substance to not only participate but to win laurels for itself and for Pakistan.

Our participation was a win win for all concerned....sarcasm and one-upmanship is undesirable and sad. VCCCP had gone international in 2005. This is the first time that we competed and won. We need to compete together with outside competition and not with each other. Pakwheels has done a great service to car enthusiasts of Pakistan and great kuddos to Hanif Bhatti for realising his dream. VCCCP has done great too considering its a non commercial, self financed club which has represented Pakistan in UK, India, UAE and now Kuwait.

I was also told that it was Hala Pakistan in Kuwait and its members who really worked hard for our participation. Bottom line is that we should not be even discussing this ..... we are all 'ONE' i.e. Pakistan to the outside world.

No offence Intended as I mentioned earlier i came across this on Facebook(shared by a Freind) dont seem to find it on VCCCP page.
As the updates of this event was shared in this thread so posted this here. btw call vcccp non-profit since all the number of sponsorships it gets and stuff(i heard advertisement rate was 200k per car in last rally) well thats internal matters..

Secondly i am not aware of the beef between Pakwheels and vcccp(as highlighted part of your posts shows) So peace.

about the letter being issue on 10 April I have no Idea about that Did vcccp receive one ?
