there is absolutely no beef between Pakwheels and VCCCP, otherwise we wouldnt be posting here. Two years ago some individuals tried doing that and suggested that VCCCP owes it successes to Pakwheels....this was after the cross country rally.
Yes, we seek sponsors to cover costs of our events and thats alright. But in every event there is some shortfall that is shared by the members...not always equally. We required 175,000 per car with two particpants in the rally which was just about enough to cover the costs of accommodation, car transportation, one way air ticket, 9 nights hotel accommodation incl. 3 nights at PC Lahore, fuel, meals, service vehicles cost....there were 3 of them with a crew numbering 10 people...their expenses etc. Not one participant paid even close to that amount. If any participant is reading this please tell us here how much did you pay VCCCP to take part in this rally. You will be surprised. Sponsorships totalled around 8 lacs and expenses were way beyond that. Who do you think bridged the gap? The recent car show in Karachi......a short fall of close to 100,000 was funded by Forum management and 3 members of VCCCP.
The certificate was posted on VCCCP Page by Hassan Raza on 10th April. The group photograph that we posted and you have reposted are all members of Hala Pakistan....thats how they were introduced to us. Hassan Raza who played a key role did say that he was from pakwheels Kuwait. But whatever the case, it's a win win situation for all of us so lets rejoice rather than pointing out who's responsible for what.
No offence meant here but had to clear out stuff...Congratulations to Pakwheels, to VCCCP and to Pakistan. In Kuwait, we were not representing the club....we had the Pakistan flag on the car and thats what we were representing. When the winner was announced, Pakwheels or VCCCP were not mentioned .... the announcement was, " ... and the winner is ...... the car from Pakistan"
United we stand divided we fall.
