@Mohsin, I have all the owners names in a file, the car is in Peshawar, the red Chevy 57 is in Isb, and in the same porch stands a beautiful yellow '56 sedan!

This little Austin would be perfect for a TV ad. As our Sami says, 'selling in a hurry isnt the way to go.'
Do bring it to the Dawn clasic car show on 1st December. There is an ominous silence from that end; hope the ongoing Emergency isnt forcing them to delay or cancel the event. We need some positive events happening too. I am sick of seeing barbed wire and armed soldiers at every corner of my city.

I've a soft spot for small classics, like the above Austin, the Appia, 500, Multipla, various Lotuses (Loti?) and the like. The other day, I was joking around with Kamran, that if we were in Pakistan, I'd go to a VCCCP meet in a Messerschmitt, he said he'd come in an Isetta. We'd look absolutely bonkers, surrounded by cars that weighed 10 times more than ours. I personally think that you can really cane a small car and get a huge buzz and still not pose a threat to the public. Although, being a classic might stop you from being too "energetic" in your driving ways.

Read up on the Messerschmitt TG500. You might like it.

@Sami, I agree. I saw a red multipla in Rwp ten years ago, never seen since and wonder where its got to.. some kabaria perhaps, I hate them!
@HJ, why is the film The Burglars missing from yr list?? havent we done this list before? Rings a very loud bell.. Neurosurgeon, any input?

We have a Messerschmitt and a couple of BMW Isetta in Karachi. I have driven the Isetta and its big time fun. It brings an instant smile on everyone's face. The Messerschmitt though restored but is unfortunately living it's life as a show piece in a friends house. Both of them together would be quite a sight.
