Chevy Belair 56 Convt. body has been de-rusted (most of it) and is now secure under a top quality primer. It'll be packed up again for a couple years till Ricky decides what to do with it....he plans to take it back with him to LA.

The Jag Mk VII is back on the road after more than 30 years. I took it out today to get its exhaust welded and drove it all around DHA - the car seats are with an upholsterer so had to make do with a brick. - my driver sat alonside on a plastic stool and as soon as I released the clutch, he fell down backwards due to the jerk and no back support.

a 1940's Chevrolet sidestep truck rotting. Owner has all the parts incl. the 6cyll engine. He is in USA these days and I'll talk to him about it once he is back. It can still be saved.

I had posted pics of these cars earlier as well but today went to this place again and felt like sharing the pics with you all again. These Lincolns can be brought back to life. Atleast one of them if not both. One can be used a s a parts car.....Samad is in LA these days and I 'll talk to him about selling these off at a reasonable price.

That Healey is sweet. Would like to see it sometime, one of personal favorites. The first Classic car magazine I bought many years ago had an advert with Healey pics which I used to stare at for countless hours!

Sad to see the state of the 56 chevy conv. I hope its not exported out of the country especially as you revealed somewhere thats its the only convertible of that model.

The sheet metal is heavily pitted, something which could have been prevented had the body been primed in time before storage and a careful watch kept.

What brand of primer is being used Id like to know, please?

I love the Healey too. If I have to choose one car from my hoard I would choose my Healey 100. Rafi was very particular about the primer he used and was doing a recci to choose the best. I dont know which one he ended up with. Rafi bought this car 10 years ago sight unseen and has seen the car now for the first time.

The owner has gone to LA for a couple of months. I 'll be speaking to him in a few days and will ask him how much he wants. My estimate is Rs.250,000 appx. for both the cars.

spotted chevrolet impala 1960's and a chevrolet fleetline 1940's aswell (i think), unfortunately was getting late so could not take their pics.

Finally after a lot of searching

the first car looks like a 1966 Chevrolet Belair.

the last pic resembels the 1958 Chevrolet Impala.(not saying that it is an impala).

the older car is a Dodge Phoenix 1959. It was posted in this thread earlier also but good to see it being spotted again. The other one looks like a Chevy Caprice 1969 to 1971.....not much into these Chevy's so not sure about its exact model...mjabbasi please help. These cars are parked outside Kashif's house in Block 3 PECHS

who is this kashif. i think i saw him yesterday driving around in a silver skyline. he has a couple of old cars rotting away outside his house. i think i saw a 1960s chevrolet impala. love the impala.

Kashif has a silver Skyline and he has cars standing outside his house incl. a 1964 Impala SS 2 door belonging to Khan of Kalat. Kashif is a great guy and a specialist in American muscle. If ever I get an American Muscle Car I 'll go to Kashif for advice.
