Vitz 2006 Error Code P1605 (Knock control - malfunction)

My 2006 Vitz shows an error code P1605 on my OBD ii scanner. I've looked up this code and it says "Knock control - malfunction" not sure if this is correct. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem correctly? my car knocks even in 4th gear (Auto tran) and when i slow down to say 30-40km/h and then accelerate, it picks up like you are in 4th gear and it knocks too much. I often see the check engine light but it doesn't show up all the time. Please help.

Your knock sensor is damaged it can be clearly visible after seeing the Knock sensor feedback. If it is non visible the replace the knock sensor and also check the wiring harness for loose or improper connections.

Vitz has a CVT transmission, Knocking on 4rth gear :S

ahan. is it located under the intake manifold? I think i did service one sensor but wasn't sure if it was O2 sensor or the knock sensor.

by 4th gear i mean a high gear. B.w i asked for some help and if you can't offer any there is no need looking for typos in my post

It is located below the exaust manifold on 1KR and on 2SZ it is located under intake manifold
