i might have a set of 68 beetle seats lying around if you want them let me know and i'll take a look. Not too sure if they are what is needed in the van though, maybe one of the KHI guys would know.

just trying to get some info on my AV engine in the thing and i'm surprised as to how little info there is out there on MOST VW flat 4s. it seems everyone has the same info take from the same places and honestly i have more info than these guys on my laptop so i've decided to share what i have and hopefully other members can chip in an improve the engine code list. as it'll be an excel sheet i'll have to take a screen shot and then serve it up as a jpeg soon.

A friend bought a beetle yesterday. It was parked for some months and we never say it. Blind deal :). We went to pindi to pick it up all prepared to toe it but to our suprise it only needed petrol and some push starts to fire up. On way back at night, when it was raining cats and dogs, i drove it without wipers carefully following the car in front it was an unforgettable adventure with a bug.

that's like saying the honda fan club is full of civics,.. clearly the beetle was the best selling VW of all time so there will be alot of members with them. to add to this club i have had the following VW's:

1968 1500 deluxe (burgundy car)
1968 12 economy (became my black roadster)
1974 1303
1978 Type 182
1996 VR6 syncro (supercharged)
1996 VR6 syncro hiline (supercharged)

so clearly even in my set it's clear that the beelte has played a large role

Some models are a challenge to maintain as reliability are not their strong point but fun cars. here are the 2 i currently own

Here is a custom VW Corrado that was for sale, i think it still is in USA for a whooping $US 28K. But worth it as car only has 27k miles.

Corrado is being looking very nice, i noticing it having the VW designed VSR intake system in engine. i wanting to buy G60 but it not good then friend telling me about vr6 engine (he have). in end i buying use mercedes as i not finding good corrado.
