i love it when i hear about someone doing such stuff,.. i'd love to be there when you r stuff arrives,.. i was supposed to be in the UK right now picking up myu stuff but unfortunately some events took place and i couldn't go. i'm also planning 044 heads, engle 110 cams etc,.. will be adding a list to my 1303 thread soon so you cna have an update.
nothing would please me more thna having a bit more torque in my asthmatic 1303 (because it is running a tiny 30 carb right now, instead of a 34 or more. which it needs as it is now a 1600)
as for the conversion, the L is a great engine as it already has a lower compression than many other 1500's. the main reason i chose not to boost my 1303 was because mahle 1600 sets (new) and 1600 DP heads (used) were available at the time. i'm guessing there would be more availability in KHI for such stuff.
my next plan is to find a case (any) and rebuild a "stroker" motor so i can swap it out when it's ready and run in. i'm tired of pounding on my 1600 now. also i think it's time to do somethign about my gear ratios,.. even though i have a 1303 gearbox i find the ratios to be WAY too short, but i can't justify at least $1400 for a "touring" style one.

hope the list i made above is ov some use to you guys. and i've really checked and NOBODY has a more comprehensive list on the net, but i'll be more satified if/when it is 100% complete.
