EID HELP!!

so i took my vw thing to jhelum it cruised without any problem .I did realize that there was minor missing at the end of journey!
So i opened the trunk and found there were rather chunks of silicon in the fuel filter along with alot of dirt!

my first solution was to clean the filter well trying to do that i broke the filter SHITT

now i cant find the culprit for the silicon Cleaned the tank and the pipes my self there was nothing in it!
FUEL FILTER= SHOULD I GET HE BIKE FILTER AND USE THAT FOR THE TIME??
dont want to direct it since i am certan there is gong to be more gunk

Use any fuel filter except the bike filter. The bike filter is not designed to withstand the high temperature in the engine bay and would leak in a matter of few hours with horrible consequences. Use a good quality Toyota or Suzuki fuel filter. With a bigger filter you need to take special care that the extra weight can pull the copper inlet pipe right out of the carburetor or pull the fuel pipe off from the fuel pump side or the carb side. The silicone chunks are probably breaking off the sealing that was under the fuel gauge sender unit. Best to clean it all up and re-install with a proper gasket. remember, ordinary rubber gaskets cut out of old inner tube won't work. Proper gaskets are made up of special fuel resistant rubber. You may want to cut a gasket from a cork sheet. Eid mubarak!

Happy independence day, everyone. Here's a rather pricey fake split for sale in Karachi that may be of interest to someone: Used Volkswagen Beetle 1961 Car for sale in Karachi - 918888 | PakWheels reasonably well done, but hacking the back of an early '60s Beetle is somewhat difficult to justify these days, in my opinion. Although a stash of hidden split window Beetles is unlikely to be discovered in Pakistan anytime soon, it is difficult to accept that there is just one (1) real split window Beetle left in the entire country. If official imports started in 1954, surely a handful of Zwitters (52-53) and maybe earlier cars made it to these shores in private hands, of which one or two possibly survived?
