All the people who think that pakistan should have done this good in the auto sector always have one prejudice pakistan should invite more foregin companies .. ahhhh for god sake use ur head or atleast learn from the example of india... lets analyse what they did; they banned all car import from 1991 onwards and only allowed the import more than a decade onwards just so the local industriliasts could make rofit of of it that way wen the the foreign industry comes to market they wil face a steeper competition as a result they will have no option but to increase investment to keep quality but make it more affordable otherwise they wont be able to grab the market share.
Now you must be thinking pakistan has done pretty much the same for a very long time but our results are bad that jus mean we r not gud enuf so on and so forth with the excuses ... but fact of the matter is we havent done the same we call toyota, suzuki yamaha an all the rest of them pakistan made ... :-# reality check none of them are ... now lets luk at it in a lil detailed perspective suzuki has been in "pakistan" for longest ..... 70 percent of the compay is japanese owned!!!! ..... worst is the case with the rest of these manufacturer.
Moral no matter how much u cry out for international help, investment, zakat, kheraat, sadqa, bribe e.t.c u will lose in the long run. rely on ur own force even if pakistanis jus stop importing the finish products (tht does include car parts .. they are finish products .. raw metal and rubber are raw materials) and support there own produce even if its a "khota gari" if u drive it wth pride and keep developing it u will have the best in the world and every 1 will come beggin to u to letthem invest in ur market u wont have to go to them ... n if ur r lyk the rest of pakistani nation in doubt look at another neighbour of ours namely china they rode BIKES!!! wen u were busy among the rest of the world trodding cars except they werent really yours .... if they can develop soo much tht us is prepared to destroy the whole region jus to touch them and they did all tht jus riding BICYCLES!! and indians did it riding their ugly shaped tata cars in 2000's which were desigend in 1950's us pakistani's tought we were helping the country by buying the new JAPANI JANIUINEEE GADEE .... arghhh word support the industrilists they will also steal frm u but atleast wont rob u naked and the industrial empire they will build will help u in the long run as a nation u would be proud of ur achievement and your best talent wont be trying to go abroad jus to wash dishes or do some thing equaly worthless in economic growth of your own mother land TAKE PRIDE IN WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE U ARE IN THE WORLD, THINK COLLECTIVELY AND ACT COLLECTIVELY UNANIMOUS DECISIONS SHOULD BE MAE BY THE NATION NOT THEIVES WHO CALL THEM SELVES "POLITICAL LEAERS".
