After coming to Europe, I realised how crappy the cars are, in Pakistan. In 14laks you get a tin piece of Honda City. I dont know why European car companies are not entering in Pakistan's auto mobile markets. VW here in Europe is considered to be one of the most reliable and strong cars. I dont know why these superior quality European cars like VW, Volvo, Skoda, Ford, Audi and second class companies like Renault, Seat, Citreon and third class companies like Saab and Fiat are not entering in Pakistan. I currently own Skoda Fabia 2000 model and trust me, I rate it much superior to crappy Honda City 2011, which i used to own back home.

Owned different models VW for almost 10 years, and currently own two, I can see cheap plastic feel interior. German engineering wrapped in Indian pita bread.. Though it will be better then maruti or alto.. I am saying this for the fact that my 2010 GTI is assembled in Germany and 2013 Jetta in Mexico and I can feel the difference...

it is true that paki cars are much expensive than the quality they r giving but donot forget that indain currency is double stronger than pak rupee. if u convert the price to pak rupees you get the good picture.

wrong, bro'. india is an export hub for VW and that's why we're seeing so many VW products in the market, so quality is on par with anywhere else. next up in the indian market is the VW 'UP' to be launched first quarter of next year and will be exported too. visit the VW India website, link below, and you will get a better picture. they explain how they make 'em in india.

No offense yo any Indian brother but its true that even Passat which is manufactured now in TN here is US have a hard plastic interior which is used to be a soft touch.. Just read reviews what I am talking about... Passat was always in only two trims till last generation and base price of 29K. Now passat starts at 19K and with 9 different trims and goes till 34/35K... As far as as jetta the VW famous mid size sedan had three trims till last generatipn have now 12 trims. Starts from 15999 and goes to 29K. The base model don't have even a radio or arm rest in centre console. Can u imagine a German car without it. Reason they reduced prices to remain in market and compete. I have 2013 Jetta and I will post video to show the cheap plastic feel and loose trims parts for showroom new car. Also the trim I have is SEL . The fully loaded. And by the way I was saying Dosa.. Wrote Pita in mistake.. Be safe

although its about Jetta but the strategy is for most of their cars.. Except CC, Tourag, or GTI, or GLI.

saab is no more in automotive world. GM switched off Saab a year ago. Saab always Struggled to remain in market.

In my 2010 Jetta I used to have 8 air bags in 2013 I have 6. To cut the cost they even changed from electronically assist steering and changed from fully independent rear suspension to torsion beam.
