I'm looking for a Suzuki GS500e, if anyone has one that they are interested in selling please let me know. I heard from someone that there's a mechanic in G-10 who restores these bikes and sells them with a guarantee. Has anyone heard of him and have his contact number? Apparently he's asking for 110k for a restored bike.
Please let me know if you know of one or have one for sale. Thanks.
Well i found this 1996 one for sale, unregistered and demanding 150. It didn't seem to be in too good condition though. The handle bar is also different from the stock one. It had 75k mileage on it. What do you guys think? If i get it i think i would have to spend an additional 15-20k on it to get it back in shape.
there is a mechanic here in hyderabad he has got great number of these bikes but the pics you uploaded seems little bit different is it 400cc?? i remember many months back one of the member here also posted the pics of 400cc bike looking like this
I'm pretty sure it was a GS500e, seemed to have the original sticker on the side. It was a navy auctioned bike.
Surely is a GS 500e....100000-112000 is the right price tag provided the engine is in pretty good condition....if tyres are in shape then it will save you some 15000 PKR for the time being...i have to bear this expense coz mine was motorway auction and they have real empty roads to burn the rubber...but this 15k expense was worth the effort as handling and cornering was improved like anything....Armed forces have better budget than police...but then motorway police setup is somehow near to them in regards of maintainence fund.....rest your choice.....budget settings are not meant for these machines though..as these are bought purely for passion thirst..petrol average is quite good this i can assure you....
Thanks for the reply umar but i am not going for this bike as i wasn't really satisfied with it's condition plus he was demanding a lot. I sent you a p.m, if you could please reply to it i would appreciate it.
Its not 1996 model its 91 model in 96 silver engine not black thanx
Secondly never go on outlook of a bike always check engine as well as electrical if these are in genuine condition then make payment thanxand for gs 500 its most important as its a air-cooled bike
this bike is pretty cool!
In g-10 there is mechnic named imran this guy resore bike in 110k but he dont put genuine parts like pistons and electricals he put car pistons valves and cdi units be aware of him
Yeah this is the same guy imran. I'm not going to buy a bike from him. I think i'm going to wait until you've restored yours, or maybe if i find a already restored bike in pristine condition i'll go for it.
I posted a thread on the G10 guy some time ago and came to know he is not a mechanic but a kabaria who knows nothing of bikes, maybe its the same man. Good luck with your quest for the bike though.
but i am not going to sell my bike after restoration you can confirm me from monoo and umar-sargodhian see linkhttps://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bikes-3-wheelers/137129-bought-maroon-gs500e-courtesy-imran-bhattiPakWheels Forums - View Profile: MONOO
Gs fever is up these dayz,,,seen multiple dedicated threads for gs 500e specifically arising out of curiosity,,,seen a nice one privately imported which is really rare back at workshop
