Washed my rolla's headlight

as it was the second day of eid and was free from chores so decided to wash my car's headlamp as its never been opened or washed may be since 98

you can replace halogens by 100/120watts whites from BOSCH available at Plaza. the halogen in your hand is stock 55/60watt.

Washing wasn't necessary if the headlight was factory sealed
It's the oxidation that occurs on the outer surface of the lens that gives the headlight a "dirty" look, just apply PlastX polish or refer to my thread for the DIY I did on my Honda City's headlights

That is not a very good suggestion sir, there's a bright chance of the car's wiring being damaged by the 100/120watt bulbs as the factory headlight wiring is rated at 55/60watt

read on the headlight casing when it is fixed, looking from top ... that says 45/50 watt & the lamps he have is 55/60 .... wiring can stand upto 150 watt load & yes replace the head ligh cartridge fuse inside the car from 15 amps to 20 amps when replacing the bulbs.

the wiring might survive from the higher rated bulbs...MIGHT. But the relay will probably be damaged. That is replaceable too. BUT, more watts = more heat; and in a plastic housing it will be more destructive than beneficial...and then you'll need to replace the headlights altogether.

Exactly my point, and I've seen horrible sights which were a result of higher wattage bulbs in a normal housing, I know a guy whose brand new 2006 Civic caught fire due to the same situation.

Nice... I also got Koito Bulbs but 90/100w from years with additional relay/fuse to support them, never had any issues

How can one survive XEELI Head lights with weak lights only answer is my lights they find equal match and lower the lights :p...

i havnt opened the lens i have just it with shampoo from halogen bulb hole
Well stock bulb are the best i havnt replaced them since i bought the car
