Anybody knows the correct steps to change oil to delo gold... should we simply drain old oil and put delo gold or ...?

these are your options in PK:

Fuchs Titan Truck (locally blended & packaged)
Petromin Fleetmaster LD (imported)
Shell Rimula R3X (locally blended & packaged)
Caltex Delo Gold (locally blended & packaged)
Total Rubia TIR 6600 (locally blended & packaged)
PSO Deo 8000 (locally blended & packaged)

now as long as the oil is API CH-4 or above you'll be fine. I have used Delo Gold and it's not too bad, but honestly Titan Truck and FleetmasterLD are far superior.

titan truck usually are SAE40. Unless you request FUCHS at their office and they will drop it off to the nearest seller.

Simply drain oil and put new oil.

I need to clreafiy here that if you r switching from one brand to another brand, u just cant drain the old oil and put in new one. See both the manufacturers use different set of additives (chemicals), there is high probablity of a adverse chemical reaction, so you follow a method called flushing. This is not a complicated method, let me explain

Remove the old oil as you normaly do.
Remove the old oil filter.
Install new oil filter (use geniune)
Pour in new oil (50% of the engine capacity).
Run engine for 10 mins.
Drain the oil used (dont change filter)
Now pour in new oil (100% of the engine capacity).
Your engine is ready to go.

Flushing is done because there is always a small amount of oil remained behined when ever u change the oil. This oil is in lines and also some sticking in the oil sump. To clear out all of that we do the flashing.

I will suggest u to use Shell Rimula R3X 15W-40, it is API CH-4.

Toyota 3S have been putting Toyota Engine Oil 20W50 in my corolla 2D.
Is that not correct viscosity to use ?

DELO Gold (Caltex) is the best brand available in Pakistan for Diesel engines, and you can smoothly go 4000 km with it
I have 4 diesel cars three are 2.od corolla and one is stavic and i am using delo gold in all of my cars from last 6 to 7 years, and one of my 2.0d saloon is almost 3,00,000 on ODO meter and its engine is still running very smoothly @15kms/Ltr and can easily compete any latest 2.0d.............

and my one suggestion for all 2.0d users kindly change your genuine air filter system and install oil processed air filter system........by using this system you find a lot of difference in acceleration power of your diesel car

U should go for Delo Silver, i use it too in my Nissan 2.0D and Toyota 2C, the best oil i have ever used
