What are the requirements for a person to open up his own Car manufacturing company?

Ive always had the dream to have my own Automobile company in Pakistan. Whenever I tell it to anyone, the answer is the same, "Its impossible". Now, Im not a rich guy from the block, just finished my F.Sc, now planning on doing BE in Mechatronics. What I want to know are the pre-requisites/requirements for opening up my own company in Pakistan, and the steps on how I may be able to achieve that, The amount of money involved in it and how Id be able to get that kinda amount, testing/certification procedures, etc.

LOL I know that's the way it works here in Pakistan but That's not how I intend to do it though. IA will do it with total honesty or won't do at all. What worries me is how am I going to get that sort of investment, I mean what's the process? I don't know much about the business stuff.

How much of a investment do you think would be required for building those ~100 units. And what's the procedure of getting that sum of money, I mean would I have to take a loan or what are the other options?

Sir jee, i am a final year student of BBA in FAST Lahore. I am studying a course of Entrepreneurship. According to the theory and some of the live examples told by my respected teacher, i came to know that there are people who are venture capitalist, i.e. they will invest in your company for some equity in common word sharing your profits. For company rules and regulation you will have to get the Company Ordinance 1987 of Pakistan, it will have the details, further you will have to go through the financials of the current market players i.e. Financials of Toyota, Honda and Suzuki.
I can draw a time line for you.
From current year to 2018, BE Mechatronics ( through any good university of Pakistan associated with HEC, PEC)
From 2018-2020 MBA (again any good university)
then 5-8 years job experience in engineering field + Administration
Then around 2030 your plan will work if you will have resources.
You can then fine tune your plan and pinch your idea to Investors or any Bank but rest assure if everything goes according to the plan still bank will only finance you 40% and in extreme cases like a sustainable Business Plan for like 5-8 years then 50%

Sir jee, it is Finance terminology, it means the Financial Statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash-flows) of the companies, financial releases falls under this category.

Now, you will have to start your homework right now- Ask the general population what they want in a car from Econo-boxes to middle class cars and luxury ones.
Summarize the points then start looking at the cost of producing them.
Will you use your own engines/ body parts, what will be manufactured here and what will be imported.

How sales and after sales service will work, then you can present all this info to interested investors and banks.
Ofc, you will have to compete with the big three fraudiyas here and beat them!

It requires a lot of money and is a hard thing to do. Once you're on your feet, then it will go smooth as butter.

Very useful info. Importing parts will increase the costs by a large factor, assembling them here would be the goal, the biggest problems here would be getting enough investment and (may be) politics of the main share holders in the big 3, other than that I'll with day and night to achieve this dream of mine InshaAllah. Haha, sure you won't be needing to worry about being jobless in the 2030s
