This is the Rajdoot Bobby GTS175 -a Motorcycle with many a similarity with Scooter.It is kind of Hybrid.Remember Bobby(1973) ,the Bollywood Movie of Rishi Kapoor ,Dimple Kapadia ? This Motorcycle is used by the Hero in that Movie.

Nice coverage on the Jazz. We owned one for about 4 years and then sold it as it got near its end of service plan. It was one of the first small cars I got to drive around a lot sometimes long distances too just cos it was fuel efficient and could carry a LOT of stuff with the back seats folded. We had the 1.4L auto and for city driving it was just perfect highly manouverable and very light to drive and park with its electric steering. Downside was probably just the lack of power given our altitude and could be a bit thirsty if you pushed it too hard Now theres is the 1.5L version which seems to have covered the power side pretty well. Its a very successful car here and with Honda's excellent after sales service, not that anything ever went wrong with it, its a winner.

Oh yeah I owe you an email, will get to it tomorrow, been down with a bit of flu hence not been online much.

The high output 1.2liter i-vtec in the Jazz here is more than adequate. It is going to be a winner for Honda in India too, no doubt about it. Hope you feeling better.:). This car features in Car and Driver magazine's 2009 Top10 list..

The Punto looks good in person. I saw one in the city yesterday, though the formal launch is sometime this week. Pricing is expected to be lower than the Jazz, so expect interest from the younger , first time car buying crowd. I'll post pics as soon as the car is in a showroom. I hope to buy another N95, as there's nothing even close as far as a phonecam , out there. That's the reason i'm stalling buying a camera. The N95 is all in one package.

It's simple arithmetic, buddy. More volume sales means more economies of scale and lower prices. The M800 is now not sold in major Metros and you can visit Maruti's website for prices on all their products.

I tagged along with some motorclub buddies to check out this 1997 Opel Astra that the owner was asking RS25,000 for. The engine fired up and sounded ok, but i think it needs a professional check. With bodywork the car should cost about RS1lac to bring it up to snuff. The Astra has a 1.6liter GM engine in it and the a/c is really powerful. My friend is thinking about it and the owner wants to get rid of it fast as he's tired of paying off the traffic cops to keep the car parked in front of his store.lol

Hats off the the white city bus driver for managing to drive through town without running over a lot of things like i would do, if i was at the wheel.lol!. Just checkout the absolute lane indiscipline.

Sometimes, driving in Chennai can be a breeze. All follow lane discipline and folks cross at dedicated crossings. This is a rare sight. Usually it is the exact opposite.
