The first stage is complain to a dealership which is never fruitful due to so much documentation that dealership has to do and send to the factory/head office so they always deny in warranty. A full year of corolla's had issue with seat rattling and each and every dealership refuted warranty claim that its nothing until tons of complaints were sent directly to Indus and they issued a recall.
Keep in mind jo bhi company ho 2-3 complain pe they will do absolutely nothing completely ignore it unless lots of complaints are made directly to head office then again paperwork, investigation and maybe a recall depending on company.
Look at HONDA their so loved civic may not be the bread winner but they only have 2 cars that sell and nothing and no other cars to offer and both city and civic matter a lot to them but Civic has issue in everything har cheez ko dekho koi na koi issue hai and they are doing absolutely nothing. They delayed owners upto 1 year for a new steering rack just so that their warranty expires and they refuted the claim even when complain was launched withing warranty period so they wouldn't have to deal with it.
Its a fault that has happened just like any other fault may occur and so far no complains in Grand Carnival and no complains in Picanto either. Lets wait and see if multiple cars have the issue and how it is handled. You cant judge by a few cases
