Which car is better to buy in the budget of 2.2 to 2.3 million? Honda City 1.5 Aspire Prosmatec 2016/17 or Suzuki Ciaz Automatic 2017/18

It's a shame that Ciaz never got as much attention in Pak as other sedans have, perhaps due to its Suzuki badge, a country where people believe that Suzuki is only good at making affordable hatchbacks and small pickups.

The very same reason due to which the Suzuki Kizashi also failed, though a bit too expensive at first but its a damn good value for money now considering its price bracket of 20-30 lakh, with spare parts being a problem though.

I'm talking about used, Well i guess you don't know that cars like this undergo alot of depreciation, for take a Cl7/CL9 accord or a mark X, they used to come in a budget if 3-4 million at the start like 2005-2008 but then, both are available in under 25 lakh, with accord being even starting from 10 lakh which are abused ofcourse, german cars also depreciate alot in Pakistan and in world everywhere, the same is the case with Kizashi, just go to the Market (you'll hardly find one) or look up on pakwheels or olx, you'll find 10 maximum and they'll be priced LOWER than 30-35 lakh, if the respected user has some knowledge of the market and is not the type of a person who demands 20 lakh for a Reborn

Thank you for your suggestion but actually I am looking for an automatic transmission car in this price range which is also fuel efficient and according to my survey, XLi/GLi automatic is worst in terms of fuel average as well as they are also under-powered cars based on my experience with XLi automatic, so I'm more inclined towards the choices that I mentioned.

So guys, I just want to inform you that I have bought a 2013 Honda Civic aka Rebirth in white color, weird as it seems as it wasn't in my choice which I mentioned in my post, but one of my father's friend was selling this car 1st owner ODO 91k km, just minor wear and tear which is acceptable in 7 years old car, other than that, the car is in its original condition.
So what do you think? Have I made a good decision based on my budget or not? Please comment with detail if you think that whether I had made a good decision or not.

IMO, I think, you made a good decision.

Despite their many Cons, Honda Civic 8th and especially 9th gen. are still great cars, fun to drive and responsive 1800 cc engines.

Indeed. I'm really enjoying its drive. However, it requires a bit of maintenance provided that its a 07 years old car, but still has a powerful and responsive engine, even more, responsive than my Corolla Altis 1.6, but honestly speaking, it can't match Corolla in comfort.

Still, I'm happy with my decision whatsoever.

Sorry to jump in but getting a full option Honda Civic 2013 in 2.345 mil is great! If it's really 91K driven I think you got yourself a pretty good deal. Has the car ever been into an accident? Minor scratches, dents or even sprayed parts don't matter that much, the car just has to be in original condition "structurally". If that's the case, M.A you got a pretty darn good deal man.

As far as the comfort is concerned, you will feel the difference as Corolla takes the lead here but still it's a good decision.

Hmmm... Well... In that case, I would sincerely suggest to avail Pakwheels cars inspection services, and give them a call when the lock down ends.

Call them for inspection, tell them that you have recently bought the car, and would like to bring it in show room condition, apparently, but most importantly, mechanically and electrically.

Ask them to thoroughly check for any issues, faults, work reqd., suspension, etc. and tell you the issues. Note them down and get the work done from good garages.

I believe, in this way, car will serve you well for many thousands of Kms, IN SHA ALLAH, and will only be then requiring general, routine maintenance.

I have also observed that Honda engines are more powerful and robust than Toyota engines, provided, we are comparing same leagues. Toyota engines seem slightly sluggish than Honda.

Well... I am not aware about market prices, so cannot comment precisely, however, if you have got it in less than 24-25 lac PKR, then I think, its a good price.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it's really 91k driven and kept with extreme care, though minor scratches and dents are present on the body still the car is in its original condition.
