Which car would be best to restore for daily use?

Assalam O Alikum!

I hope that you all are doing well brothers.

I wanted to ask you that which car would be best to restore under the following conditions:
* Car budget 10-12 lacs
* Restoration budget 5 lacs
* Body type: Sedan

Also I want to ask that what kind of restoration can be done and does it actually works?

Like my concern is that the transmission should be without jerks and the pick should be good once I restore it.

What kind of interior availability is there to make it as clean as possible?

Exterior can be painted but what about interior.

If you have a requirement to buy a sedan then you can look for a Margalla
Interior can easily be done as cultus dashboard fits perfectly in it (it also came in plus models from factory)

Indus corolla is your only option. Parts are everywhere and body is good. Many options. You can get 10-15lac a good body and in 20lac total, you should have a reliable daily driver

Get a upper model choha or IDSi City, 2003 to 2008.

Restore that car to your liking. U can even upgrade a 1500cc engine in the car. Everything can be fixed bolt on.

Spares aren't very expensive. Thoose cars are solid built. And relatively newer.

Increase budget for ur car, lower for restoration.

Also, this is for bringing a car to its stock condition not ricing it up.

For reference this was done in 2020 Covid days. And alhamdulillah the car is still running perfectly.

Restoring Honda City 2008

We had a 2008 Honda City lying dead for past 3 years in our family belongs to my uncle. I had my eyes on it since it stalled, but they didnt want to sell it. Finally they agreed to get it fixed. The car had a accident resulting in a leaked radiator, heating up, and finally ending up dead. Picked her up 2 weeks ago on 14th Feb. The plan is to restore it fully and return it back to them. Il try to update the thread as much as possible. Looking for positive and negative/critical feedback…
