Which one should i buy (Honda Civic 7th or 8th gen)!

hello friends!
i want to buy civic but tell me which one i should go for... honda civic vti oriel manual 2005(7th) is available but im also thinking about 8th gen... but some people say that 8th gen has very low ground clearance... and also tell me which is fuel efficient... ???

Go for a good condition 8th Gen, it is better than 7th gen in all aspects.

i was in the same dilemma a month back, 7th gen is really really hard to find in prestine condition in islamabad as every other 7th gen has meter tampered and sold thrice or some even has 4th owner.

i have settled for 7th gen, seen a really good car and probably will go for the purchase for it in a week from an uncle jee.

8th gen is a haathi, my fathe rkept it for 3 years we bought it brand new, i believe 7th gen is much much smarter then 8th gen and sleek too. alot will disagree with me.

7th gen every single part is readily available in market i.e japanese and local spare parts.

you should drive 7th gen and 8th gen both and see what suits you, 8th gen is a haathi to me and not a practical car to keep in islamabad.

I have both the 7th and 8th gen models and believe me since I got the 8th gen I have not driven my 7th for over 6 years! Its in the garage collecting dust (2001 VTI Oriel with 48,000 km). The 8th gen is miles better than the 7th in every way.

If I were in your shoes and had the funds then 8th all the way but If I was limited then for sure a late model 6th is the way to go.

8th Gen eyes closed if you have the budget. Otherwise 7th gen if budget is less. I am satisfied with my 7th gen though

Buddy if you are planning on spending 1 million on a car that is at present 11 and on the verge of being 12 years old, you are already in the budget of a 8th generation civic.

I have owned civics in Pakistan since the 5th gen. I currently own the 8th, it is a 2012 oriel and manual. And believe me when I say this, the 8th gen is miles better. It has ample performance, reliability, durability, breaking any man does she handle around the corners well.

The only issue I have with the 8th gen is the fact that it's maintenance is a tad pricy.

Consider your options between the 7th and 8th. And since you're asking for an opinion, I will have to lean towards the 8th gen, hands down.

At the end of the day, it's your money and you have to drive it. Good luck and drive safe.
