the priority of people will not be vehicles or real state, priority will be revival of their mental & economic health.

lock down has been extended across Pakistan upto April 14 2020.

Yep that is one of the reasons. There will be no demand. Like I said before alot of other factors will come into play this year not only "dollar upar, to prices upar".

yes you are right let's just pray from almighty that this Corona virus finishes soon and I think that the car prices would not increase immediately after the pandemic ends but it will probably remain same till the June July budget comes out that will decide whether the prices are to decrease which is a rare chance or increase or remain the same

Now Dollar is back around 163 & experts saying should land between 155-160, some money changers eying at 150 mark.

Lets see if the new car prices come back accordingly.

IMHO, if you want to buy a car, just find a get deal and buy one.

I dont think penny pinching will help in this case, I have not received a single call during the whole lockdown from anyone willing to liquidate their car, even at normal let alone a low ball or give away price.

Brother did you get a chance to read the whole thread? We agreed that new car prices will at the worst increase or at the best remain same. We were more concerned with used cars at the end

So followup: It's still early but I am seeing some drops in used car prices. I've noticed the trend in Swift, Vitz(bulldog), Civic(pre reborn), City(pre 2009). Civics after reborn and corollas after 10th haven't changed. I was kinda right but pakistani used car market is a pandora's box.
Also, I heard that in April, it was the first time that no new car was sold from Honda, Toyota and Suzuki. If this is true then I think that used car prices will not go down any further.
