With the budget announcement around corner, the financial policies will determine industry progress or status quo.

The currency disparity, import tariff change upon industrial raw material will ascertain future of every industry connected to automobile sector in Pakistan.

Yes I agree. The demand for used cars will increase. But not all of them, only for a few models and variants.

keep an eye over currency exchange rate. That is pulse which decide prices of final product.
So far almost every automobile industry vendor rely upon imported raw material.

FPCCI had obtained recommendation from their members for submission to pre-budget commitees and it is high time the policy makers shall revise the taxes tariff for industrial imports.

I think that there will also be a shortage of raw materials, which in turn will mean limited to no production in Pakistan. Indeed there is a high possibility that some companies might go bankrupt.
The dollar is being artificially holded because of the whole economic situation in the world, the dollar will drastically shoot upwards when things start to stabilize globally.

local assemblers are closed. smugglers of scrap jdm are in clue less state what to do where to go for release of stuck up vehicles. This is the only core issue.
