Windshield heavy fogging up from outside in Rainy nights - Honda City Aspire 1300

Salaam,
During these rainy nights of Lahore, I am facing serious problem of fogging up of my Honda City from outside. It is hard to see the road and drive when there is some light in front or on road. Tried all of following options in different times without success:

1. AC (with outside air) directed to windshield
2. No AC but air directed to windshield
3. Heater with ouside air directed to windshield
4. Cleaned with newspaper
5. Washed it with shampooed water
6. kept working vipers on
7. Kept car windows open
8. Car windows also remained fully fogged up in each situation
9. Rear glass of car remained clear with first option and almost with other options with Rear ON.

Please suggest how to keep my car defogged in rainy/cloud nights?

your engine heat coming out from the area near wipers is causing this, check the weather shield under bonnet.

same issues with most of us, but mild heater on wind shield with fresh air should solve the problem.........

Use viper also if fog outside windshield
It removed

Viper issue replace them coz these are desi stuff put orignal ones i am also facing such kind of prob and replacement of viper blades can solve this prob

turn On AC full and fogg is gone

Its a condensation effect, outside its cooler air, inside its hot (relatively) , so keep AC turned on so the cabin temp will also be lower, so the screens would remain clear.

buy a 740iL , it has one button screen clear, all wipers, vipers, and ac fan blowers heaters everything controlled by sensors to ensure your screen is clear, your ac and passenger ac or rear ac or heater will be not affected..

I'm having the same problem here. Also fogging problems from the inside. When I turn on the AC and switch the airflow to the windshield, it goes away. Haven't been able to fix the exterior fogging problem though

the exterior fogging is due to ac. the windscreen is cold and the air outside is humid so it condensates on the outer surface just as it does on the cold bottle of water...

if the fog is outside switch OFF the AC.
if the fog is inside switch ON the AC.

In simplest English - sensors balance interior and exterior screen temperatures, if you don't have interior control computer you do it manually.

ur doing a mistake by directing the air to the windscreen. u have to cool down the cabin but dont direct the air to the windscreen. if u do, the particular spots on the screen get too cold and get frosty. just turn the a/c on and direct the air towards urself. give it some time so that the cabin is cooler, the fog will disappear slowly.

one of my cousin used to do this mistake in his civic. after a few days i asked him to let me control the frost issue n then it never happened again n onces u direct the a/c towards windscreen and frost appears, theres no going back, ur doomed. the difference in inside n outside temperature wud be too much (due to direct cool air supply to screen) n u wud keep in reversing the direction but it wud just reverse the situation, i.e. fog inside or fog outside.
