This is actually a small step towards making the family life of Muslims miserable like the family life in west in the name of women empowerment. The so called empowerment they talk about is actually to get the women out of the home and let her blend in the society so the men may make use of them in various ways like exploiting her in the name of commercials, business activities etc etc
The right place for women is at her home i.e, building children character, personality, on the basis of Islam and so many people make it look like a very unworthy task however this is where you start the very basics of the society you want to make and especially w.r.t the the teaching of prophet Muhammad ﷺ
.If our gov is really sincere to "empower" women, opportunities must be created which suits women lifestyle not by trying to change their own lifestyle.
