Refill with fresh oil:

Start engine and check for leaks. Confirm proper oil level on dipstick.

40 hot viscosity on that engine?? you will not like it. use 0w20 in that - its a DI engine and really taxes the oil as fuel floods it - (ala mazda 6 oil making problem - the level rises on it after a while)

According to the manual "an oil with a higher viscosity may be better suited if the vehicle is operated at high speeds or under extreme load conditions". The 0-40 works great in this engine. The 0-20 choice has more to do with meeting CAFE standards in the US.

Besides, this is a dual DI/conventional FI engine.
