Yamaha ybr 125 2015

Hi. Pakwheelers,

Allah Almighty has bestowed me Yamaha YBR 125 on the Mubarak day of Jumma-tul-Vida i.e. 17[SUP]th[/SUP] July 2015 at the introduction price of Rs.129,400/-.

The Yamaha YBR 125 is a light motorcycle made by the Yamaha. first Introduced in 2005 in the world other than Pakistan. Now in 2015 it is introduced in Pakistan.

I have researched on this bike from different angles e.g. Fuel Consumption, Price, Engine type, Looks, Power, and Accessories etc. As many of you know that I was proud owner of Honda Pridor and it was the first bike sold by Honda at that time in Lahore market and was a very good bike which was totally hassle free.

The part of my research is shared with you all friends here in the form of a table.
Yamaha YBR 125 has changed the style of people on the road as it is the most lucrative bike ever in Pakistan. Being the introducing bike; Yamaha has produced it with the following pros. & cons.:
Pros. & Cons:

1. Soft touch Self-starter switch.
2. Comfortable to use indicator switch.
3. Headlight with parking light and sleek visor.
4. Most Attractive and Sexy Tank with slip support while breaking the speed with front disc break.
5. Alloy wheels of 18 inch size each.
6. Sophisticated and stylish meter with 140km/hr. limit and an easy vision in the night with glowing needles.
7. Full chromed muffler with safety layer of chrome putty.
8. Butterfly Carburetor for more efficient fuel delivery.
9. Big Battery and direct head light ON function.
10. Beautiful Fuel on/off switch. Overall looks are killer and Color quality is impressive.
11. Bike covered up till 15000kms with 5 free tunings.

The cons. of Yamaha YBR 125 are:

• Mud guard in front of rear tyre is missing. The mud guard of front fender is also missing.
• Engine Kill switch is missing.
• Dipper switch is missing.
• The distance between the chain cover and rear tyre is narrow.
• Parts are very expensive.
• Missing issue before 1000km.

Amjad bhai, Thank you. As you know I changed the sprocket set of my Pridor 3-4 months back and at that time it was in my mind that now I will change the bike with new Pridor to avoid more expense on my Pridor and YAMAHA introduced YBR 125 so I decided to sale my Pridor and to purchase YBR. Allah Almighty has specially graced me with the new Yamaha YBR.

I have planned to change the rear shock absorbers on this weekend. Though these are really really very good but to give more grace to my bike I will change the shock absorbers with some different as shown in pic.
However, for more changes and looks your advice will be appreciated.

we are hearing its shocks absorbers performs excellent

to enhance looks you can get your ybr's stock shocks absorbers springs colored too
that will enhance their looks though ybr does not much to enhance looks as bike
in stock is very beautiful

Bro, I have purchased/imported this kind of shocks through respected Waqar bhai @vickytulla and now to give more grace to my YBR I hope to fit it in this weekend.
Secondly still the registration process has not yet completed so still the bike is driven as shown the oddo reading. Tomorrow I have to visit the excise office for registration of my bike. It is a very smooth ride. If you have rode a Suzuki GD 110, it feels like and due to more height gives more comfortable feeling as all other bikes look small in front of it.

Bro, actually @vickytulla and some of other friends in Lahore got imported 08 sets for their Piaggios and I requested to vicky bhai for one set for my Pridor but could not get installed it due to time shortage. So now these shocks will get the right ride to get installed. The size is the same as of the YBR’s shocks. The company name is “SIE” which has name in quality shocks of this kind. Also @vicky bhai honored me with the depth of his heart and invited me at his home. He is really a nice and cooperative person.
As far as the seat is concerned it is very soft as compared to the PRIDOR, CG125, Piaggio and also the seat is somehow wide for more comfortable ride.

i am interested to see shocks i have always trouble with ahl bikes rear shocks specially
pridor so if an good quality alternative is present that is very good

Seat is very important don't know why manufactures ignores this may be i guess atlas themselves
make harder seat so that we don't drive bike continuously for hours

Hahahahaha brother Atlas bikes are cost effective so they have to cut the cost by putting such hard seat. Pridor is of just Rs.86000/- if we compare it to other reputed companies’ 100 cc bikes, it is very cost effective.

i around month back faced such situation that too outside my home at gate

i parked my cg dream and went inside home as i came out i heard some
loud noises of bike throttle than i saw nonsense idiot kids were coming on
bike and doing wheeling there is speed breakers near my home gate there
they lost control and hit my cg dream bike felt and its visor broke and some
scratches on seat cowl :mad:

Yes the care factor should be very high in case of such expensive bike.

You are right, when I got the shocks; the Pridor has to be sold due to the reason that one friend of mine was asking me to sale my Pridor to him, so I did not tried to fit it in the Pridor. Now it was the right bike to fit in such shocks.
Today I have fitted the new shocks and the bike has become more attractive.
