Yaris ativ 1.5 AT vs Corrola 1.6 automatic x which is better option?

I want to buy car confused between these two yaris has better options and 7 speed engine where as altus has better shape but less specs but if any thing else you think that this option is better who has used both. Please let me know.

Depends on your usage . If you have a bigger family then go for Altis . And if you want practicality then again go for Altis .

4 person family , does that automatic climate control AC and 7 speed cvt gear thing doesnt matter much?

Please go through below thread, It had detailed discussion. Yaris have 7speed (virtual not physical) gearbox not engine.

Altis 1.6 have better shape, more powerful, excellent resale, compact sedan (yaris is subcompact) and definitely FL look awesome. Downside is 4pd transmission which result in low fuel economy. But this gearbox is more reliable and solid than CVT.

Yaris have more frills and feature and slightly better fuel economy. IMO if budget is not an issue, Altis 1.6 is better choice overall.

Toyota Altis 1.6 AT Or Toyota Yaris 1.5 X Ativ CVT

Hey Pakwheelers….. I intend to buy Toyota Altis 1.6 AT. But at such time when Toyota Yaris is about to be launched , one cannot help but wonder... is Toyota Yaris 1.5 X Ativ a better choice? Given that the features being offered in Yaris will be at par with the ones being offered in Toyota Altis 1.6 (other than a marginally inferior engine in Ativ 1.5). Where as Yaris might be 2.4 lacs cheaper than Altis (Altis is priced at 3,149,000 where as Yaris Ativ X 1.5 is expected to be around 2,909,000…

The logic by which auto climate control works requires manual intervention more than manual climate control in my experience.

It's more about aesthetics of knobs vs. A digital display with buttons in my opinion.

Altis is a bigger and better vehicle, in rear seats the headroom isn't good for anyone 5'8 or above, also the arm rest extends way back so legroom in the middle isn't good either. Yaris I'd prefer only if parking space is an issue and middle variants are better value e.g. 1.3 auto ATIV.

Go for corrolla 1.6 without thinking .. yaris is good for 1.3 ..i hv 1.3 yaris as home usage car its really strong and durable and get things done … but starts flying above 110-115 .. body is too light control becomes weak and yaris is v compact too only 2 adults can sit on rear seats .. 1.6 corrolla is a full sedan car , high quality and more beautiful too
