OH!!!!!!! i remember this road. This is the place where most of the tragedies/murders/tyre puncture/encounters happen on Star Plus/CID. We usually see a bride standing alone for hours here and asking for a lift but sadly nobody stops and the only car that stops is either her old bf or the villan

LOL! Actually, the road you're referring to is in Film city, Goregaon, Bombay.
The place is one giant film set.

So we arrive at out hotel approx. 1230pm after a six hour drive to cool and overcast climate in Yercaud so we're thinking we can refresh and then head to the lake for some boating and chilling out. No way. The weather gods had a different story to tell as in an hour rain and fog encompassed the place. We decided to take a drive throught the hills to a lookout point about 6kms from the hotel and the following are some views as we drove along.

You a Rajnikanth fan, eh?. Did you know he's a box office draw in Japan with over 500 fan clubs there?. Not bad for an immigrant from Mumbai who adopted Chennai as his home and made it big here. I appreciate his humility, inspite of the fact that he's the highest paid movie actor here. His real name is Shivaji Rao Gaekwad!. My roadtrips are nothing but just that and i share pics here as i do in an Indian or American website too. I hope it doesn't attract attention for all the wrong reasons!.

Yercaud is one of four hill resorts in TN and i've visited the other three namely Ooty(nicknamed the Queen of hill stations), Coonoor/Wellington and Kodaikanal, all beautiful locales. You must visit.
