Exiting this enchanting place which was created out of a natural surrounding and not entirely artificial. That's why i liked it ,especially in the area surrounding the pic in the intro. I expected a troll or some mythical creature to attack me while i was there!.lol

My friend pushed the little bugger to 160km and i was impressed with the performance of the diesel. Not bragging of the speed and actually disapproved, but my kvetching fell on deaf ears!. This design is going to be history here in a couple of months with the intro of the new Swift in November.

You a Rajnikanth fan, eh?. Did you know he's a box office draw in Japan with over 500 fan clubs there?. Not bad for an immigrant from Mumbai who adopted Chennai as his home and made it big here. I appreciate his humility, inspite of the fact that he's the highest paid movie actor here. His real name is Shivaji Rao Gaekwad!. My roadtrips are nothing but just that and i share pics here as i do in an Indian or American website too. I hope it doesn't attract attention for all the wrong reasons!.

no actually his actions seems interesting specially that glasses and i think he used his real name in that movie shiva jee it was on cable with hindi dobbing.and i knw he is highest paid actor and has a nokia 1100 cell phone.
ur trips are always nice south india is more orignised then other we see on tv btw i am curious is there always rainy season or sun shines there mostly covered in clouds all the times and this place looks a bit matching to our northern areas

Indian movies are not real and they play on being down low , appealing to the lowest denominator. Witness the success of 'Dabaang'!. So unreal and so uncool, yet a box office success. Tomorrow , Lewis Hamilton will be at the Madras Race Track for an event, "Mercedes-Benz Fascination" show is touring Chennai this week and i'll be a busy man.lolz That's India for you. A little bit of everything and all goes.Also when you mean South India remember there are four different states each with their own language and Governments and except for the smallest Kerala, the others are larger than many European countries like UK, France et al. Lots of land to cover and lots of places to see!.

Yercaud is one of four hill resorts in TN and i've visited the other three namely Ooty(nicknamed the Queen of hill stations), Coonoor/Wellington and Kodaikanal, all beautiful locales. You must visit.

Listen mate when I make my next trip to India which hopefully will be sooner rather than later I will be asking for lots of travel advice from you, rest assured The idea is to finish the work part of the trip quickly and to take a couple of weeks off and tour India. The only problem is finding time to take off work but keeping fingers crossed for next year........

The Terrain in South India Varies from Flat Deccan Region to Hilly Western Ghats(which incidently Covers Whole of Western India.from Kanyakumari to Mumbai).

Every Big Metro has some Hill Station Near to it(<300kms).Be it Mumbai,Madras or New Delhi..

Try and make the trip before July 2011 else it will all be memories for me!. December through March is the best time to take a roadtrip though this year has been different. It's September and feels like fall in Chennai with plenty of rain. Garden is called 'experimental' 'cause i think they're experimenting flora stuff there is what i think. I like looking at greenery but Botany and me don't go together. The nice gardener there tried explaining stuff to me and then gave up, thankfully and left me to roam.
