Yokohama Advan A460, 205/ 55 R16

Assalamoalaikum brothers. My new 1.6 Altis is going to be delivered very soon in sha Allah. I'm thinking whether I should change the stock tires i.e. Yokohama Advan A460. Since facelift Corolla's suspension has been stiffened and tire profile & size has been reduced, I have got feedback from the users that the ride has gone stiff, interior noises appear if driven on rough roads and even ground clearance with 5 people has compromised. I need your opinions on the following: -
i. Whether oem tires should be changed?
ii. Whether profile should be altered? Like 205/ 60.

Altis 1.6 is full of issues.You will regret your decision.I am the victim.Toyota not claiming my issues in Warranty.If u need proofs i can send you on whatsapp.

I have stock A460 in my 1.6 Altis. They are noisy and hard. Grip is fine.
I would suggest to get rid of them and go for something else like Advan Db or Michelin xm2.

They maybe fine for 99% of the users. But if you have driven softer tires before you will never like them.

I have Advan Dbs in my other rides so I know how much inferior these A460s are in the comfort and noise zone.

I have used Yokohama BlueEarth AE50 on Altis 1.8. Its very soft and quite.

Yes ,These are best tyres ,I have corolla in KSA here bridgestone is recommended one bcas of price but if you fit yokohama it is great for car ,also in Pakistan the same model we changed to DB and it changes the whole experience for ride .

We don't get db as oem but advan a460.

If you dont really care about the warranty go for 205/60 otherwise stick to 55.

The only advantage of A460s is they will last a good amount of time with less punctures as compared to Advan Db. But 20000kms down I feel they have become more noisy.

Swapping now is a good option if you want real pleasure.

I have grande 2018 friven it with yokohama i would advise you to switch to michlien 215/55/r16
