Ok, so I got my Belta checked today. The mechanic removed the throttle body, and showed it to me. It was kind of like dirty if you will. And he cleaned it with pertrol, applied grease again to the body. Next he put it up for drying.
While drying, he had a chat with me, and said, "Sahab jee. Belta baich do. Ye Japani garion ka engine 40k kms k baad farig ho jata hai." And I was staring at him. He wanted me to "get rid" of my car and go for a GLi. Bah.
After putting the throttle body back, he told me start the car. I had a test drive and was like OMG. Its hard to recognize it. One can not say it is the same car. Really satisfied with the pick. Havent had a chance to record the 100kmph timings, nor the fuel consumption. Lets hope for the best. Thanks for the advices (specially Murtaza).
About the question, do JDM cars really give up after 40k kms? It seemed weird to me.
Thanks again!
