Most failures of new suspension items in Karachi that I saw were due to this little fault. Mechanics assumed the joints are full of grease while the oil stuck to it was actually just an antirust coating. It was mandatory to remove it and pump it full of grease, it used to take a about 4 or 5 pumps. Repeat every 6 months to keep them in good shape.
